As Reed Turkey, we are looking for a " Sterilization & Radiation Protection Expert " with below requirements for our global client.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Engineering,
  • Previous work experience to have worked at least one year in radiation safety and radiation protection,
  • Experience of medical device business,
  • Competence on experience with statistical analysis preferred,
  • Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems and testing methodologies,
  • Full command of the English language for both documentation and communication skills,
  • Experience with root cause investigations and find energy from problem solving,
  • Experience from troubleshooting and familiar with different investigation methods,
  • Have an open mind to look at things in a new way,
  • The ability to travel as needed,
  • A team player with good communication skill.

Job Description

  • Responsible for plan, prioritize and manage activities in the dosimeter laboratory,
  • Responsible for process and implementation of product validation tests (PQ) E-beam,
  • With colleagues, plan and perform validation of sterilization process e-beam in accordance with regulation,
  • Responsible for keeping standards for procedures*, instructions and methods within the dosimetry lab and the area of responsibility up to date.
  • Responsible for dose audit methodology and procedure. Responsible for keeping standards of procedures, instructions, methods, routines and planning for dose audit current and up to date.
  • Equipment- and instrument responsibility. Responsible for calibration in time acc to internal regulations.
  • Plan and perform control measurement and calibration of doslab instruments,
  • Manage deviations and nonconformities within dosimetry lab,
  • Conducts internal trainings when needed,
  • Responsible for radiation safety e-beam in accordance with Turkish Authority requirements,
  • Work within the field of radiation protection for our sterilization facility as radiation protection expert. To understand and follow the requirements set by the radiation protection authority and see how they must be complied with and ensure they are applied in our operations,
  • Overall responsible to ensure regulations and instructions for radiation protection and Quality Assurance of e-beam sterilization are up to date and maintained,
  • Support daily QARA task as needed.
