As Reed Turkey, we are looking for a "Finance Manager" with below requirements for our client which is operating in Manufacturing sector, located in Izmir.

 Qualifications:

  • University Degree or equivalent standard in Finance and/or Accounting
  • Professional experience of at least 10+ years in Accounting Supervisory / Financial Controlling
  • Sound knowledge of Turkish Accounting Standards
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Experience of having worked in project or project-based production plants
  • Desirable Professional Qualifications
  • Proficient in desktop software (spreadsheets, presentations, etc)
  • Excellent command of the English language both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of consolidation systems (i.e. Hyperion) could be a plus
  • Military obligations fulfilled, if applicable
  • Goal oriented; sets high personal standards of performance, seeks out new challenges, and initiates activities
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and project management skills
  • Demonstrates flexibility in the light of new information and changing circumstances

Job Description:

  • Identifying opportunities to improve the business’ policies or objectives
  • Ensuring the company is operating securely and effectively
  • Preparing and reviewing operational reports
  • Assisting managers in compiling annual budget information and reports
  • Develops and runs the systems and processes for consolidation, reporting and budgeting
  • Delivers the required monthly reporting in Local/Group GAAP
  • Provides annually information on statutory docs (Financial statement, tax filing, etc)
  • Reconciles management reporting and statutory reports
  • Contact point for the External Auditor/Consultant
  • Ensures compliance to corporate accounting policies and Operating Procedures
  • Supports the management in terms of contract and/or project follow-up as well as ad-hoc reporting
  • Secures financial operations by monitoring financial processing and reporting.
  • Maintains cash flow by monitoring bank balances and cash requirements
  • Monitors status of obligations from/to supplier/customers (LoC, PBG, ABG, etc.)
  • Maintaining all policies and procedures manuals
  • Developing Excellent planning, organizational, and project management skills
  •  strong relationships with cross-functional teams and departments
  • Ensures compliance with all tax obligation
