As Reed Turkey, we are looking for a "Senior Procurement Specialist" with below requirements for our client is operating in FMCG sector.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of working experience in Procurement, preferably in FMCG sector,
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English,
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to influence others, work in X-functional environment, implies interaction both within the team and with external partners, a cross-functional team and foreign colleagues,
- Strong Project Management skills,
- Deep understanding of the current market developments and ability to find most efficient solutions to drive best total value,
- Advanced knowledge of SAP SRM, Excel and Power Point,
- Experience of working on platforms for electronic bidding – as an advantage,
- Ready to work contract base for 12 months base in Istanbul European side.
Qualifications
- Responsibility for transition of local procurement supply base to outsourcing and regional teams,
- Definition, alignment with stakeholders and execution of clear timeline, KPIs and glidepath of the transition project,
- Implementation of the project to meet the set KPIs and deadlines,
- Ensure proper spend clean up and smooth transition with no negative business impact to supply chains,
- Project reporting documentation development to track, align and demonstrate the results,
- Conduct negotiations/tenders and concluding contracts with suppliers to create the best value (prices, payment terms, quality and deadlines),
- Manage the process for Marketing materials (POSM, advertising items etc) and services (BTL services), Indirect materials and services (Logistics, IT, HR, Office, Packaging, Co-packing),
- Ensuring proper selection of suppliers (e.g. financial condition, technological know-how, etc.) to minimize supply risks,
- Processing supplier claims in order to find the best solution.
