As REED Turkey, we are looking for a "Senior Big Data Engineer" with below requirements for our client in Software sector.

Qualifications

• Graduated from Engineering Faculties of Universities,
• Elastic Decking with project experience (Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana),
• Experienced in subjects such as CCR, CCS (with Elastic Cross Cluster)
• With experience in open source databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• To master the concepts of indexing and ranking and to have project experience in these areas,
• To have map reduction project experience in hdfs with Hadoop,
• Who has project experience in Hadoop Stack (Hive, HBase) technologies,
• Who has project experience in Cassandra database,
• With experience in big data processing project with Apache Spark, Apache Storm,
• He has experience in installation, configuration, optimization and cluster issues in one of the MPP databases such as Vertica.
• From NoSQL Databases (Couchbase, MongoDB, Redis, ELK, etc.) at least one of them has experienced installation, configuration, optimization, fragmentation and clustering.
• Cloudera cluster has experience in installation, configuration and optimization,
• He has the ability to closely follow the Open Source software world and communicate with communities about troubleshooting problems.
• He has at least moderate knowledge about the Linux operating system,
• Having a basic level of network knowledge,
• Has Scrum - Agile knowledge, can use products such as Jira - Git,
• Project experience in continuous integration, with continuous delivery products such as Jenkins,
• Fluent English at a level that can follow the literature and work with English-speaking consultants.

Job Description

• To support other teams working in Big Data related processes, Deployment, PerformanceTunning issues.
• To ensure the continuity of the system in extraordinary situations related to the areas of responsibility of the team.
• To carry out the operational processes related to the areas of duty.
• To communicate with Vendors related to their areas of duty.
• To provide the internal requirements related to the areas of responsibility.
• To carry out their duties in accordance with the ITIL processes.
• Preparing documents on Big Data Management procedures and keeping them up to date.
• To take part in POC and Test activities.
• To comply with the deadline dates specified in the project plan. To inform the managers and the team of any risk occurrence.
• To comply with the regulations, policies, procedures and instructions published by the institution.
• To fulfill the tasks given by the manager and to support all the teams he works with.
• To have knowledge about the products under their responsibility, to play an active role for the development of the product.
• To intervene quickly to the problems detected in the production environment.
