As Reed Turkey, we are looking for a "Purchasing Engineer" with below requirements for our client operating in automotive sector, which is located in Bursa Turkey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from Engineering Departments (preferably Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer)
• At least 2-3 years experience in purchasing in automotive industry
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Excellent command of MS Office programs
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• No travel restriction

Responsibilities

• Handling all commercial relations with suppliers
• Releasing RFQ packages and collecting offers, gathering data on potential suppliers
• Managing contract and price negotiations process with related parties
• Searching and making relations for alternative suppliers
• Leading sourcing for new projects
• Meet or exceed individual goals related to tooling and capex including; cost savings, economics, supplier development, and other agreed objectives
• Material & Macro economics calculations and negotiations
• Negotiation proficiency with both internal and external customers
