 As Reed Turkey, we are looking for a "Country Health & Safety Manager" with below requirements for our multinational client.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field,
• Having OHS Expert Certification (A class),
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in health and safety management, preferably in the cement or other heavy industry,
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate employees at all levels,
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful health and safety programs,
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Good command of English,

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures tailored to the specific needs of the cement and ready-mix concrete industry,
• Regularly review and update policies to reflect changes in regulations, technology, and industry standards,
• Conduct regular risk assessments of work environments, equipment, and processes to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures,
• Collaborate with operational teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies,
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and local regulatory agencies,
• Keep abreast of regulatory developments and industry trends to proactively address compliance issues,
• Develop and deliver comprehensive health and safety training programs for employees at all levels, including new hire orientation, refresher courses, and specialized training as needed,
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability through effective communication and training initiatives,
• Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence,
• Maintain accurate records of all incidents and ensure timely reporting to relevant authorities as required,
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovations that enhance safety performance,
• Regularly review safety metrics and performance indicators to measure progress and drive continuous improvement initiatives
