As Reed Turkey, we are looking for a "Plant Manager" experienced in HEPP, with below requirements for our multinational client operating in Energy sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering,
- Minimum 10 years of experience in as an operations manager, maintenance manager, or in similar roles in the energy, or oil and gas sector,
- Specialization in hydroelectric plant engineering, maintenance and efficiency is a plus,
- Possess a strong understanding of hydropower technology, electrical and mechanical engineering, and relevant regulations and standards in the electrical sector of Türkiye,
- Strong practical expertise in QHSE risk management, hazard identification, and incident investigation,
- Advanced/Fluent in English (C1+), written and spoken
- Structured and systematic working style with a strong focus on planning, risk-based thinking and decision-making,
- Reside or willing to reside in Ankara,
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the daily operations of the hydro power plants, including production, maintenance, and repairs,
- Oversee the maintenance of equipment, such as turbines, generators, and control systems, to ensure efficient and safe operation,
- Prepare and administer the annual operations and maintenance budget, monitor expenditures and expenses,
- Supervise, train, and evaluate employees, including those involved in operations, maintenance, and engineering,
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards and implement operational safety programs as required,
- Identify and respond to emergencies, ensuring the safety and continuity of operations,
- Lead and manage capital improvement projects, such as facility upgrades or new technology implementations,
- Account for license compliance, including environmental regulations,
- Communicate with stakeholders, prepare reports on plant performance, and present information to management.
