An exciting and varied role providing PA and Operations Support to the Managing Director and Operations Manager within a creative business based in York City Centre. Assisting with facilities management, HR Administration, arrangements for company events, coordinating and resolving IT support and hardware requirements, and assisting with the implementation and ensuring compliance. Attitude and approach is as important as your background for this truly unique role!


Responsibilities:

• Assist the MD with diary management, meeting and travel arrangements
• Assist with Coordination of conferences, events and company days
• Organise all team logistics including meeting, hospitality, travel and accommodation, laptops
• Provide support across all aspects office and facilities management, including supplies of stationary, equipment and consumables
• Provide the Operations Manager with general HR administration support, ensuring all employee and training records are accurately maintained in accordance with information security and data protection policies and procedure and the organisation and storage of legal and business documentation and electronic filing.
• Assist with the implementation of and compliance with the company policies and procedures, maintaining user access records and data registers and completing periodic checklists, risk assessments and fire safety checks on a weekly on a periodic.
• Act as the Deputy Fire Coordinator
• To liaise with the team daily to identify resourcing needs, booking freelancers and liaising with Finance for pay related matters


You must possess/be:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent level of IT literacy and strong Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Able to effectively organise and prioritise workload and multi-task
• Sensitivity to appreciate when confidentiality and discretion are required
• 3 years experience in a similar role
