Reed Health & Care are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join our fantastic client within the centre of Newcastle Upon Tyne. 

Accountabilities
• Assist the Locality Manager in the development of the Care and Support strategy and strategic aims and assist in developing a performance culture that supports the achievement of Care and Support business objectives
• Responsible for providing managerial support to some identified front line staff ensuring that they are supported to manage their services effectively, ensure contract outcome measures are met and managers are delivering in line with budgets
• Assist the Locality Manager to ensure all compliance requirements within contracts are met, e.g. H&S, Safeguarding, Quality, Outcomes and Outputs and Payment by results where required
• Represent Care and Support at appropriate forums, locally, to ensure strategic fit to services current and future needs
• Assist in implementing new projects and improvement to service delivery
• Ensure the effective management of the organisation’s directly managed Supported Housing including referrals, letting, voids, rent accounting and tenancy enforcement
• Participate on internal working groups and assist in the implementation of the inform system
• Provide leadership, expertise and performance management of direct reports
• Ensure all risk assessments such as role, building and client risk assessments are undertaken, reviewed and complied with
• Carry a caseload of clients who have been identified as requiring support services
